Designed to help you achieve perfect ¼” (6 mm) or scant ¼” seams, this foot features an oval needle hole that allows for slight needle position adjustments. For piecing: Adjust needle one or two steps left for a full ¼” seam; centered or one step right for a scant ¼”. For topstitching: Adjust needle and use the guide for perfect stitch placement. Avoid using a straight stitch plate with this foot. Do not lift the presser foot to the extra high position if using optional quilt feet with guides.
